Passport Control

Data Exchange (DEX)
| |
DPM has been working with several Border Agencies for the last 15 years. The key activities are focused on the Air and Sea Ports of Entry. The governments utilising the solution have the facility for:
· Fast Passport capture including ePassport and MRZ
· Other document image capture including driving licenses
· Biometric collection including fingerprints, iris and facial recognition
The use of Gated, automated access or fast lane entry has also been developed and deployed. The capture of information at the border is quick and effective. Retrieval of previous images is available to the officer for visual confirmation.
The ability to move data between sites safely and securely is available and DEX is the application that is used extensively throughout our customer base to achieve this. It is multi-Nodal and easy to add new nodes within your network. It is a fully client request based application, ensuring that Server activity is minimised. The Web Service driven application ensures ease of configuration and allows multiple client requests to be serviced concurrently. Transactional unity is maintained through the token management application, ensuring that no incomplete information is delivered to the client. Compression techniques are used to reduce network traffic, thus improving delivery times.

Fast Process for Cruise Passengers
| |
DPM has now completed and implemented an ID card solution. The ability to enrol an individual, collect biometric information, facial image, signatures and assign a card type that includes card life and trip duration.
The ability for the passenger to be processed on board has been a facility that DPM has offered to ImmigrationOfficers for 10 years. We have now upgraded the system to incorporate an excellent new hand held device. The Hand Held allows the capture of fingerprints, full page passports, iris camera and standard camera facility. The application will validate the person against the known list of persons of interest.

Database Management
Advanced Passenger Information
| |
All the information is maintained in a RDBMS with secure access controls. The ability to fully encrypt the database and the use of Object Oriented technology are just a few of the safeguards available within the database. The database can be situated on all current database technologies that are approved within bounds of ensuring data integrity and security in the marketplace. An excellent information retrieval system is available to ensure that all reporting requirements required by the relevant agencies can be met.
The DPM solution has the ability to collect API information, check against ‘Persons of Interest’, Check against lost or stolen document lists and other databases available to the agency using the application. The ability to send e-mail, SMS or other alerts to relevant authorities or individuals for further validation is a standard feature of the application. The manifest received is validated to defined standards to ensure that the Carriers are sending the information correctly. DPM are happy to
work with the Carriers to help ensure they meet the standards required by Governments that are implementing the use of APIs.
