This module forms the basis of the Entry and Departure System
Vessel and Flight details are entered either manually or can be easily imported if received electronically. Passenger manifests can also be electronically imported if required. Data entry screens have been designed to enable fast entry with much use made of drop down lists to ensure consistent, accurate entry.
Stop list details are entered manually or can be easily imported if received electronically. The facility exists to enable an individual to be added to the Stop List at point of entry. This as with all functions can have several layers of security ie can be restricted to senior officers if required. All stop list entries can have reason codes and be displayed in order of priority if several reasons exist. A full history is maintained. There is no application limit on the number of years data that is kept and archived.
Using full page passport readers it is possible to capture several fields of information and the image, automatically, from machine readable passports. Additional information from the ED card can be entered later if required. A fast entry screen is provided at arrivals and departures in order to capture the minimum information for passengers with non machine readable passports. This enables an immediate search against the Stop List. In addition a unique record is created if not already in the database. At point of entry and departure (for residents) the system can capture an exiting ED Card number or this can be keyed in. Alternatively the system will generate the number. This is then used to creates a link between the passenger and the actual flight. Using e passport readers, Biometric data can also be captured.
All real-time searching at points of entry enables full detailed drill down on individuals showing for example, aliases, alternative passports, images, complete record of vessel and flight history and if use is made of the other Forms, details of Visas, Permits etc can also be viewed.
